Lance Armstrong has won more Tour De France races (7) then any other person in the history of Cycling, including consecutive wins from 1999-2005. Yet his greatest fight was not in any race. It was against an advanced form of Testicular Cancer. It started in his testicle and eventually spread all the way to his brain. He was diagnosed as having a 50/50 chance of living, never mind ever racing again. However, he took charge of his disease and fought it every step of the way. Sure enough, cancer found out something every other cycling competitor already knew….
Lance Armstrong does not like to lose.
His victory is so inspiring, that the Lance Armstrong Foundation has raised over $200 million dollars to fight cancer, $65 million of which came by selling a yellow bracelet that represents his triumph. It’s called a ‘LiveStrong‘ bracelet. I’m sure you have seen them. Lance Armstrong, in a video interview below in front of a live audience, explains the whole story, from early symptoms, to diagnosis, through the struggle, all the way up to his comeback victory and the huge success of the LiveStrong bracelets. Find out the true story behind these bracelets, and listen to the ultimate competitor talk about the fight of his life….
