I couldn't agree more about letting go. In letting go of control and putting the work in capable hands you free yourself up for following others passions in life. Freeing up time and space for new experiences and growth. Then when you do get down to business you come at it with a fresh mind. Clarity and free time is essential. Thanks for the reminder Peter! Retweeted as well.

This is the approach I take with my clients anyway now. However, what I think would be more interesting is sending this to the clients it was about and seeing their reaction. :)

Great post PJ. I wonder what would happen if you linked your clients to this article before signing contracts ;)

No problem. I feel your pain :) Good luck and tell your wife to let go, and get some well deserved rest! Thanks for reading.

Hey PJ,

Loved this post! I can completely relate right now as we are currently in the process of finding help to run our online business. I've been watching my wife work herself to the point of exhaustion lately and she still doesn't feel as though we need more help that we already have. Thanks for the timely reminder!

@Christopher

Thanks. Speaking of analogies, I just thought of another. Picture a friend of yours driving a car into your neighborhood, where they have never been before. You are in the passenger seat, and ask to take the wheel. However the person refuses saying that they think this is the best direction to reach your house. You keep telling them you know a better way, but they have directions they found online. You remind them that this is the neighborhood you live in and you really know the best way. They rebut that I understand, but I think that this is the best way.

The driver is like the clients I spoke about, and we are the passengers flipping the F out in the backseat because we know this is the wrong way and there is nothing we can do.

Great Post!

Love the analogy;-)

The truth is so plain to see. letting go of everything in life is the stepping stone to peace.
