Yes, that is true, but &#039;special&#039; can only be who you are after you become it, not before.  Therefore, I believe it is not something you are, it is something you become.  Hope that clears things up about my point of view.

While I like your quote, I have a different take on it.  I don&#039;t believe any of us are really special.  Not any single person.  I just think, some people do special things, therefore they become a special person in both their eyes and others, not the other way around.

I think the last sentence before the quote doesn&#039;t make any sense, if it is something you &#039;become&#039; then it can be who you are are
